Flowers can be shipped directly to Cherished Rose Studio or dropped off locally. If you are shipping, I recommend sending them as soon as possible after your event — the fresher your flowers arrive, the better your preservation results will be.
When preparing fresh flowers for shipping, a little care goes a long way:
Let your flowers dry before packing. Do not ship flowers that are wet or damp, as moisture is the number one cause of mold and damage during transit. Allow them to air dry completely before packaging.
Wrap each stem individually in tissue paper. This protects delicate petals from bruising and keeps blooms separated during shipping.
Do not use wet cotton or damp paper towels. While this is a common instinct for keeping flowers fresh, moisture in a sealed box will cause mold and can ruin your blooms before they arrive.
Use a sturdy box with plenty of tissue paper or packing material to prevent shifting during transit.
Choose the fastest shipping option available. Priority or expedited shipping is strongly recommended to minimize time in transit.
Ship early in the week. Avoid shipping on Thursdays or Fridays to prevent your flowers from sitting in a warehouse over the weekend.

When in doubt, send more — not less. The single best thing you can do to ensure a beautiful finished piece is to give me variety to work with. A diverse selection of blooms, sizes, and textures allows me to thoughtfully design each keepsake and make intentional choices about what goes where, rather than working with limited options.
Here is what I recommend sending:
Flowers of all sizes. Large focal blooms, medium flowers, and tiny accent pieces all serve different purposes depending on the mold and design. Having a range gives me the flexibility to create something truly balanced and beautiful.
Greenery. Ferns, eucalyptus, leaves, and other greenery add depth, texture, and a natural feel to any piece. Don't leave it behind — it makes a bigger difference than most people expect.
Filler flowers. Baby's Breath, wax flowers, and other delicate filler blooms are incredibly versatile and photograph beautifully in resin. Include as much as you can.
A little extra of everything. Some flowers do not survive the drying process as well as others, and having extras ensures I always have beautiful options to work with even if a few blooms don't make it through.
Think of it this way — I can always work with more, but I cannot create something from nothing. The more you send, the more choices I have, and the more stunning your finished keepsake will be.
Each piece at Cherished Rose Studio is handcrafted with care and intention — and great things simply cannot be rushed. From the moment your flowers arrive, the full process typically takes 2 to 3 months, depending on the size and complexity of your chosen piece.
Here is a little insight into why that timeline exists:
The journey begins with drying, which alone takes at least a month — sometimes longer depending on the type and density of your flowers. Roses, for example, hold moisture differently than delicate wildflowers, and every bloom is given the time it needs to dry completely before a single drop of resin is poured.
From there, resin work is a slow and deliberate process by nature. Each layer can only be poured one at a time and must fully cure before the next layer begins. The larger and more intricate the piece, the more layers are required — and the more time that takes. Once the piece comes out of the mold, the work is far from over. Sanding, polishing, and finishing steps are what transform a good piece into a beautiful one, and those final details add meaningful time to the process as well.
Smaller pieces are often completed closer to the 2 month mark, while larger pieces like the Floral Block naturally fall closer to 3 months.
It is also worth sharing that Cherished Rose Studio is a labor of love built around a full time career. Every piece is created in my personal time, with my full attention and care. Life occasionally brings unexpected moments that shift timelines, and I will always communicate openly with you if that happens. What I can promise is this — I would always rather take my time and deliver something extraordinary than rush and deliver anything less than my best. Your memories deserve nothing less. 🌸
This is one of the most common questions we receive, and it deserves an honest answer.
Flowers naturally shift in color and appearance during the drying process — this is a normal, expected, and completely natural part of preservation. It is not a flaw; it is simply the nature of working with real, living blooms. Most flowers retain beautiful color and dimension throughout the process, and the result is still a stunning, meaningful keepsake that honors your moment beautifully.
That said, every flower variety responds a little differently. White flowers have a tendency to take on a soft ivory or yellow tint over time, and red roses often deepen into a rich, dark burgundy during drying. While these shifts are natural, they can occasionally surprise customers who are expecting an exact replica of their fresh bouquet.
It is also worth knowing that the drying process has a way of revealing what the naked eye cannot always see on a fresh flower. Bruising, soft spots, and minor damage that were invisible on your wedding day or at your loved one's service can become more visible as flowers dry and lose their moisture. This is completely normal and in no way a reflection of how your flowers were handled — it is simply what happens as blooms transition from fresh to preserved.
This is also why timing matters. The sooner your flowers arrive after your event, the better your results will be. Flowers that have been sitting for several days or weeks before shipping are far less likely to retain their fresh appearance, color, and shape through the preservation process. When in doubt, send them early.
On the brighter side — quite literally — bold and vibrant flowers tend to fare beautifully. Oranges, yellows, and purples are among the most resilient colors through the drying process and often retain their brightness and vibrancy in the finished piece.
Every flower that comes through Cherished Rose Studio is treated with the utmost care, and we work thoughtfully to bring out the very best in each bloom. Our goal is never to simply preserve your flowers — it is to transform them into something even more beautiful than you imagined
Life moves fast, and not everyone is able to reach out right away after a wedding, funeral, or special event — and that's completely okay. While fresh flowers always yield the most vibrant and true-to-color results, dried and older blooms can absolutely still be preserved and transformed into something beautiful.
Every flower tells a story, and sometimes that story includes a little age. If your blooms have already dried, I will work with them with the same care and intention I bring to every piece. Please keep in mind that I am unable to restore color that has already shifted or reshape petals that have changed during the drying process — but what I can do is honor what remains and create a keepsake that highlights the beauty and meaning still living in those petals.
If you're unsure whether your flowers are still workable, don't hesitate to reach out. Send me a photo and a little background on your blooms, and I'll give you an honest assessment of what we can create together.
Absolutely — and we love when you do. Some of the most meaningful pieces we've ever created weren't just about the flowers. They were about the fishing lure he always carried, the wax seal from her wedding invitation, the charm that never left her wrist, or the dog tag that meant everything. Those details are what turn a beautiful piece into an irreplaceable one.
Many clients choose to incorporate items such as prayer cards, wedding invitations, photos, jewelry, charms, ribbons, wax seals, and other small mementos that connect them to the memory being preserved. If it fits and it matters to you, there's a good chance we can work with it.
Our Medium and Large Keepsake pieces, as well as our Round Ornaments, are especially well suited for incorporating personal touches alongside your blooms. When reaching out to place your order, simply share what you have in mind and we'll talk through what's possible together.
The most meaningful keepsakes are the ones that tell the whole story — not just the flowers, but the life lived around them.
Resin is a beautiful medium, but it is also a humbling one. It has a personality of its own, and even the most experienced artists will tell you that working with it requires patience, skill, and an acceptance that nature does not always cooperate perfectly. I pour my heart into every single piece that leaves Cherished Rose Studio, and I take every possible precaution to ensure each keepsake is as clear, beautiful, and polished as it can be.
That said, there are a few things worth knowing before you place your order.
Dust, a tiny hair, or the occasional tiny air bubble can sometimes find their way into a piece while the resin was hardening — even in the most carefully controlled environment. These things can be invisible during the pouring process and only reveal themselves once the piece has fully cured and held in certain lights. Most imperfections can be addressed during the finishing process, and many simply add to the handcrafted character of a one of a kind piece. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and that is part of what makes them special.
I am a passionate, dedicated artist — but I am also human. I do not offer mass produced perfection, and I never will. What I do offer is genuine care, real craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the memories you are entrusting to me.
If absolute clinical perfection is what you are seeking, I want to be upfront that handcrafted resin art may not be the right fit. But if you are looking for something beautiful, meaningful, and made with tremendous love and intention — you are in exactly the right place.
One of the many things that makes resin keepsakes so special is how little they ask of you in return. With just a few simple habits, your piece will remain as beautiful decades from now as the day it arrived.
Here is what I recommend:
Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight. UV exposure is the number one enemy of resin over time. Extended periods of direct sunlight can cause yellowing and fading, so display your piece in a spot where it can be admired without being in the path of harsh, direct light all day.
Avoid extreme heat. Resin can be sensitive to high temperatures, so keep your piece away from windowsills that get very hot, heating vents, and other sources of prolonged heat exposure.
Clean gently. A soft, dry cloth is all you need to keep your piece looking its best. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths, or cleaning sprays, as these can dull or scratch the surface over time.
Handle with care. While resin is durable, it can chip or crack if dropped on a hard surface. Treat your keepsake with the same care you would give any treasured piece of art.
Your keepsake was made to last a lifetime — and with just a little mindfulness about where and how it is displayed, it absolutely will. These are pieces meant to be passed down, and proper care ensures they stay beautiful for every generation that inherits them.
Life doesn't always give us time to prepare, and I completely understand that. Some of the most precious moments — and the flowers that come with them — arrive without any warning at all. For memorial flowers especially, I will always make every effort to accommodate your order, because those are the moments that simply can't be planned for and the flowers that can't wait.
For planned events such as weddings, anniversaries, or celebrations, I kindly ask that you reach out as early as possible — ideally well before your event date — to confirm availability and reserve your spot. The earlier we connect, the more time we have to make sure everything is handled with the care it deserves.
Please keep in mind that each piece goes through an extensive multi-step process including drying, layering, and curing, all of which take significant time and cannot be rushed without compromising the quality of your keepsake. From the moment your flowers arrive at the studio to the day your finished piece is in your hands, the goal is a 10 to 14 week timeline from start to finish. While I will always do my best to work within your needs, I want to be upfront that true rush orders may not always be possible.
When in doubt, reach out. We'll figure it out together.
At Cherished Rose Studio, I understand that the flowers you are entrusting to me are irreplaceable — and I treat them that way from the moment they leave your hands to the moment your finished keepsake arrives at your door.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs in both directions — sending your flowers to me and returning your completed keepsake to you. I work hard to keep shipping costs as low as possible while ensuring your pieces are packaged with the care and protection they deserve.
Because your flowers and your finished keepsake cannot be replaced, I strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for both shipments. This small added cost provides invaluable peace of mind, protecting something that is truly one of a kind. Cherished Rose Studio cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during transit, so I want to make sure you are fully covered every step of the way.
Have questions about shipping your flowers or need guidance on how to package them safely? I am happy to help — just reach out before you ship and I will walk you through everything you need to know.
At Cherished Rose Studio, every piece I create is completely custom, handcrafted with care, and made exclusively from your irreplaceable flowers. Because of the deeply personal nature of this work, the following payment policy is in place to protect both of us and ensure a smooth, stress free experience from start to finish.
Deposit A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time your order is placed and your flowers have been received. This deposit reserves your place in my production schedule and covers the materials and time invested in beginning your piece. Once the drying process begins, that time and those materials cannot be recovered, which is why the deposit is non-refundable regardless of circumstances.
Final Payment The remaining 50% of your balance, along with any applicable shipping costs, is due in full before your finished piece is shipped or released for pickup. Your keepsake will not leave my hands until your account is paid in full.
Smaller Orders For pieces under $75, payment in full is required at the time the order is placed and flowers are received.
Accepted Payment Methods Payment is accepted via Venmo, Cash app, and PayPal. All payments are processed digitally for your convenience and security.
Cancellations If you need to cancel your order after your deposit has been paid and the process has begun, please reach out as soon as possible. While the deposit is non-refundable, I will always handle every situation with fairness, transparency, and open communication.
A Note From Me I understand that placing a deposit on something you haven't seen yet requires trust — and I do not take that lightly. From the moment your flowers arrive to the moment your finished keepsake is in your hands, I am fully committed to delivering something that honors your memories and exceeds your expectations. That is a promise I make to every single customer.
All products are listed as "Out of Stock" because Cherished Rose Studio is not a traditional shop where items are made in advance and shipped off a shelf. Every piece is completely one of a kind, created specifically around your flowers and designed with intention. The website is here to inspire you and give you a look at what's possible — not to process orders automatically.
All orders are reviewed and approved personally before anything begins. This allows me to make sure I can give your keepsake the time and attention it truly deserves.
Cherished Rose Studio is a passion, not a production line. This is something I pour my heart into during my free time because I genuinely love helping people hold onto the moments that matter most. Because of that, the number of orders I take on at one time is intentionally limited, and timelines may vary. This is how I ensure that every piece leaving my studio is something I'm truly proud to put my name on.
If you're interested in placing an order, please reach out directly and we'll go from there!
