Cherished Rose Studio — Client Agreement

Thank you for trusting Cherished Rose Studio with your most precious memories. Before we begin, please take a moment to read through this agreement. It is designed to ensure that we both have a clear, shared understanding of the process, the expectations, and the commitment we are each making to one another.

By submitting your flowers and personal items to Cherished Rose Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Flower Submission & Condition

  • Cherished Rose Studio is not responsible for flowers that arrive in poor condition, over-dried, under-dried, or damaged in transit. It is the client's responsibility to ensure flowers are properly packaged and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Flowers should be delivered as fresh as possible. The sooner they are submitted after an event, the better the preservation outcome.

  • Cherished Rose Studio reserves the right to assess the condition of submitted flowers and cannot guarantee results for blooms that are wilted, moldy, or significantly damaged upon arrival.

  • Any personal items included in your keepsake (pet tags, ribbons, photos, cards, etc.) are included at the client's own risk. Cherished Rose Studio will take every precaution, but is not liable for damage to embedded personal items during the resin process.

The Preservation Process

  • Once the preservation and casting process has begun, no changes can be made to your order — including shape, size, color requests, or included items. Please ensure all decisions are finalized before submission.

  • Flower placement within each piece is determined by the artist based on the blooms provided and the shape selected. While requests are always welcome, exact placement cannot be guaranteed.

  • Resin requires time to properly cure. Rushing the process compromises the integrity of the piece. All timelines provided are estimates and are subject to change.

  • Cherished Rose Studio will make every effort to complete your order within the estimated timeframe, but is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply availability, or circumstances beyond our control.

Color & Appearance

  • Flowers will naturally change color during the drying and preservation process. Colors may darken, lighten, or shift in tone. This is a natural characteristic of preserved botanicals and is not considered a defect.

  • Cherished Rose Studio cannot guarantee that your finished piece will match the original color of your flowers.

  • Each piece is handcrafted and one of a kind. Natural imperfections may be present, including but not limited to small air bubbles, fine dust particles, tiny hairs, light waves or ripples in the resin, or slight variations in clarity. These characteristics are inherent to the handmade resin process and are not considered flaws.

  • No two pieces will ever look exactly alike. Variation is part of what makes your keepsake uniquely yours.

Care & Longevity

  • Your resin keepsake is designed to last a lifetime when properly cared for. To protect your piece, please follow these care guidelines:

  • Keep out of direct sunlight, which can cause yellowing of the resin over time.

  • Avoid extreme heat, including windowsills, car dashboards, or areas near heating vents.

  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

  • Handle with care — resin can chip or crack if dropped on hard surfaces.

  • Cherished Rose Studio is not responsible for damage that occurs after the piece has been delivered to the client.

Photography & Social Media

  • Cherished Rose Studio reserves the right to photograph and/or video your flowers and finished keepsake throughout the creation process for use on social media, our website, and other marketing materials.

  • No personal identifying information will be shared without your explicit consent.

  • If you prefer your order to remain private and not be featured in any content, please notify us in writing at the time of submission.

Deposits, Payment & Refunds

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order and begin the preservation process.

  • Remaining balances are due upon completion, prior to shipment or pickup of your finished piece.

  • Due to the custom and handcrafted nature of each keepsake, all sales are final. Refunds will not be issued once the process has begun.

  • In the unlikely event that your flowers cannot be preserved due to condition upon arrival, your deposit may be applied toward a future order at the discretion of Cherished Rose Studio.

Shipping & Loss

  • Cherished Rose Studio is not responsible for flowers or items lost or damaged during shipping to our studio. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method.

  • Finished pieces will be carefully packaged for return shipping. Cherished Rose Studio is not liable for damage that occurs during return transit once the package has left our care.

Agreement

By submitting your flowers and/or deposit to Cherished Rose Studio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Client Agreement.
